It is an interesting video but I am not so sure this is about the mental game. I think the term "mental game" refers to a lot more than brain processing speed. The video does mention how you have to make decisions at a very high speed in table tennis. But the video doesn't cover the decision making and or a number of other things like strategy and mental toughness and the ability to stay focused and positive in the heat of the action. <br>

Nevertheless, it is interesting to think about training and techniques that improve your processing speed which certainly could help a player's mental game. <br>

So, for a higher level player, something to improve brain processing speed might be something like this: <br>

The pace and the random element in the ball feeding would help a top pro see where the next ball was going faster. In other words, this would improve his processing speed. But there is other training that might help the decision making better. And still other stuff that would help many of the different aspects of the mental game including the type of work, off the table, that is the field of a sports psychologist. <br>
