Help needed for a FH rubber

I'm new to the community, so hello!

In short: I've returned to the game after a few years. After testing and making a few adjustments, I finally concluded that the 83.5g Viscaria is the best blade for me right now. For the backhand, I chose the Moon Blue 12 M+, which is simply the easiest and safest to play.

My problem is (and always has been) the forehand. I've gone through tons of equipment in the past, but that was like 10 years ago. Currently, I alternate between Big Dipper V 38 and 39 deg. I bought two sheets of each: they're probably factory-tuned, shrink quickly, and there's a significant difference between the individual sheets (in appearance and performance). The weight difference between cut 38 and 39 is almost 10 grams... It doesn't play badly, but it's difficult to rely on. I like the overall characteristics, but with me running away from the table too often, I find them lacking power. However, I wouldn't want to go for very hard rubbers (55deg area). I consider boosting as a last resort.

I'm looking for something more hybrid than the chinese, with a catapult that will help in mid-distance, preferably not ESN. Although I tested the DNA Hybrid M for a while and it was quite good, but I had a strange, bit mushy feeling and it affected the overall compostition and the feel I got from it.

Can you suggest a direction to go in, and some candidates? A 50-degree base and a flexible top should be fine.

I have Big Dipper V on my forehand too, but my forehand is not good so I'm trying Mercury II now, if that doesn't work I might be tempted to try NUZN 48.
I'm 54 and just started playing after 30 years and my forehand is not so good so I actually think I need some help from the rubber.

ESN Hybrid : Yasaka Rakza Z / Donic BlueGrip C2

Chinese but hybrid feels : Loki Arthur China / Loki Rxton 7 39 / Loki Rxton 9 39 Blue sponge

None of this require Booster can be play outside the package straight
I reckon that chinese ones you've mentioned would feel even more chinese than my BD. I've heard that Rakza Z is somewhat slow rubber. C2 sound interesting tho.

I see you are using Nuzn 45. I was thinking about Nuzn 50, but I heard that the NUZN series has no tack-like grip at all.
I am right now, but I still like hybrid MK better. I got a lot of different rubbers to experiment with on different blades.
Yes, NUZN 45 tackiness is about the same as Hybrid MK, almost zero…

I will probably change both blade and rubber for next season.

Shore O 50 is a little hard for BH I think, but there is quite a difference in price between NUZN 50 and 45, that indicates a different technology…

Cheers

Check out Yinhe - Jupiter Tour 8. A bit Euro feeling, good bounce and super grip.
Yinhe - Apollo 5 is a tacky rubber and a bit faster than BD V. Really good feeling in this one.

But if you're looking for a hybrid rubber, I've tried out the Joola - Hugo Calderano Trinity Charged and I really like this one. I almost don't miss my Chinese FH rubber when using this rubber. I tried it on the Hugo Calderano KL-C Inner, so the blade isn't super fast, but in the Off-/Off section somewhere.

Glayzer and Glayzer 09c are good options. The regular Glayzer has a softer topsheet and is quite forgiving, but still with a respectable speed ceiling.

Rozena's a bit softer but has an excellent performance to control ratio. Compared to the Tenergy options, I think it plays a like a toned down Tenergy 80. Similar arc and spin, but less speed and more controllable bounce, probably a bit slower than the Tenergy 05

I would say the Dignics 09c is your most obvious choice. Slightly tacky and very good consistency if that's your criteria. Good from mid-distance, fast.
You've got the ESN ones which you said you don't want, like the J3 and C52.5.
So you're left with more obscure non-ESN options. I liked the AVX Purot (regular soft version). But why not try Kim Taek Soo's new rubber the G52? I think there's 2 softer variants (the P49 and another I think). It's semi-tacky, made in China and I'd imagine the QC would be quite good. So it probably ticks your boxes.
You can see how it plays on this channel.
You can buy it on Global GMarket and with shipping it would still be much cheaper than D09C.

I actually think the Master V49 looks better for forehand with more catapult. Made in China but only slightly tacky, so not as 'hybrid'. So G52 is more of a classic hybrid rubber.

I slowly leaning towards D09C. Heard its durability is excellent. Maybe it will compensate the price XD

Oh yeah for sure. Dignics is probably the most durable high performance rubber on the market. I still prefer Tenergy though. Relatively good value if you consider the insane prices of the other brands.
