How does Xiom J&H C55 compare to Dignics 09c?

C55 has slightly more accessible top-sheet, or softer top-sheet. Similar hardness. C55 has nice sound, for me one of the best rubbers, better than D09C. But the durability is much worse in compare to D09C.
how much worse is the durability for C55 than 09c? I’m hearing many conflicting reports, some say C55 lasts 6-8 months, others only 2 months.

To me C55 is easier to play on FH. Just much easier to create enough speed and spin.

I don't see much difference in long push.

Durability D09C wins hands down by a large margin. You will see signs of decline as early as 2 months in C55. Skidding is the worse problem in the C series. Even just a little skidding is a huge problem.

D09C is still playable after 9 months. A little bit reduced in spin but at least no skidding.

D09c is for me a complete rubber even when you hit the ball improperly. You can get quality spin on imperfect contacts at all ranges of effort. I find for C55, I did okay when topspin driving but not as much when generating heavy topspin with thin brush. So I feel D09c is much better for allround spin based offense than C55, which is more technically demanding to generate quality slow spin offense. The problem for D09c is when you don't have time and that is not a strength for C55 either.

for the money is better 09c
Edit: if u looking for alternative to H8-20 then 09c is equal
I am actually using 8-80 now. But it’s hard to get it to Canada at a good price. 09c and C55 i can get at a good price, but I can get C55 cheaper. Maybe it’s worth to try C55 and if I don’t like it, go back to 09c

Let’s see how long it lasts on BH then. It should last longer on BH hopefully

If you buy the C55 on sale it is almost half the price of the 09c... so based on its easier playability and performance in general I would always choose the c55 over 09c. But that's obviously a subjective feeling. You might have the exact opposite feeling for your playstyle and technique
