I think part of it was also the care free attitude it gave me when I played. So my strokes would always be relaxed and id be playing truly for fun. No worries like losing or executing or whatever so the wins would just come. Describing it actually makes me want to play like that again, but I also know I'm going to end up annoyed when I'm done wanting to feel like that.

For training matches playing for money put in a pot or beer and food (i guess "Der_Echte" would prefer Chicken&Beer) can really be helpful raising the motivation level.

No one knows true combat until they see 5-8 players competing at the club in an impromptu round robin to decide who pays how much for chicken and beer. That comp gets something FIERCE. then it gets off the charts fun and LULZ when they all go downtown together.
