I found this little boy when I was watching the CCTV5 report of 2010 CTTSL final. Check out 2'26'' and 2'45''. Do you recognize who is the little boy beside Yan An? How old was he?

haha~he looked like a typical 13~14 years old Chinese boy to me. Although Chinese players always change their date of birth, Fan Zhendong's age seems quite true to me. This video is always used as the evidence to defend the true age of Fan Zhendong in Chinese TT forum.

Hello Dan, I guess it would be really hard to find, he was at the Bayi (PLA) provincial team back then and playing at some lower level leagues.

Yeah that's true. It is incredible how good he is now. You would think we would have seen him a bit sooner, similar to the Japanese 11 year old wonder kid. Fan Zhendong came on the scene at 15/16 and has done so much since!
