Ah... yeah I can definitely understand not wanting to work with someone who made a comment like that about my business, even if it's a little thin skinned.

Yep, and posting stuff on youtube trying to get followers because you claim to have the absolute truth is silly.

the thing is, there is no absolute truth in a forehand technique

so the post or criticism is fair and with merit.

want to see my criticism? heming will bribe dan to ban me on TTD haha
I personally feel it is a poor business decision, just like the decision where he forgot we were meeting in the morning at his club, even though I confirmed the night beforehand.

people make decisions, Melbourne meeting was 2014. He was 20 then, so still a kid in a way.
today he is an adult.
PS. I still chatted with him afterwards, for a good few years too, so it wasn't like that 1 non show had me put him in the naughty list :p

never the less, I don't dare say my coaching methodology is the absolute truth - only people who does that are CNT youtube coaches who all talk arrogantly because they are world champions. It will be funny to see an Oceania player trying to think he is a world champion too and who hates ittf/wtt - because he needs to thank them for his inflated WR61 career high from what was 400 or so in the old ranking system.

However I would say the absolute truth is just cut the rubber neater for petes sake.

Heming wanted to learn from TTD for his business, I would say all these contents are good for him to be honest

all you need is maybe extra 10 seconds and the cut job can be neater
or unless, he is using a very blunt scissors - but having seen many of his rackets through his videos,,,, its a habit of his.
Not even 10 sec. With the same effort you just cut along the edge of the blade.
Let’s just say it’s his preference. After glueing and cutting 1000 of rubbers go probably doesn’t care much about it.
He prolly, and that’s more important, wins from all of us.

And you’re right about being a good player doesn’t make you a good coach

Heck I was once driving with a ceo of a big firm and we talked about being successful. He said many CEO’s aren’t more intelligent than you. It’s mostly knowing the right people and a social skillset and opportunities.
So being a good player doesn’t make you a good coach. Being a good coach doesn’t make you a good businessman. You don’t have to be a good tt-player to be a good coach.

I have. I suspect most people wouldn't do it, but it is just a personal thing.

the thing is, there is no absolute truth in a forehand technique

I agree with all of this and probably things you haven't said here as well lol, I am just saying that I can understand why Heming wouldn't have wanted to engage further with someone who had already written him off
