Hi all, I'm looking to get a 100pack of balls for training and multiball. I was initially looking at DHS D40+ 1 star balls as I quite like the 3 star version. But came across some good reviews on here for the Huieson 40+ 'red and black print' balls which I can get for much cheaper on AliExpress, and have used in the past and thought were okay. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience/recommendations between the different types on AliExpress?
  1. Hueison 40+ ABS New Material: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000271046952.html. 'red and black' printing. 100 balls/$24.94AUD
  2. Huieson D40+ 1 Star: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32818199384.html. Only popular 1 star version, others are all 3 star. 100 balls/$27.17AUD
  3. Huieson DJ40+: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006187822776.html. Purple and back printing. 100 balls/$29.01AUD
  4. Huieson G40+: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004879366270.html. Seems to be the most popular listing and has 'red and black' printing. 100 balls/$26.02AUD
  5. Huieson S40+: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32952787308.html. All black listing, saw some comments the all black printed balls aren't as good. 100balls/$32.74AUD
  6. Huieson X40+: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002111464585.html. Not many listings, printing includes 'professional team ball'. 100 balls/$31.40AUD
Locally, we often train with 'local' balls branded by Aussie stores which sponsor various tournaments. Either:
The AGMC and RADAK balls are okay and cheaper than DHS D40+, but they're more expensive then the Huieson ones. Also having different branded balls means mine will hopefully be less likely to go missing! TIA :)

Why not joola training ball? The you wanna try, some of them in the 100 pack are good, but some of them not that good. I bought more than 500 of those a few years back for community center.

I have the H40+ ones for my home Set-up and they are pretty good.
They are slower when rallying with another Person or playing normally, but for multiball and this sort of training near the table they are good.
Most of them are relatively round, in the norm I would say for Training balls.
They dont break easily and are pretty hard.

For robot / multiball I can recommend them, but not for group Practice where you are not just standing near the table or 1 step away and training a technique or something similar.

Unfortunately Joola is not very popular here so I haven't tried a Joola ball before and they're more expensive (120 balls/75AUD). Just trying to find a bargain from AliExpress I won't regret!

I bought some of the abs balls (#1 in your list). They bounce respectably. However many of them are not quite spherical so they wobble a small amount.
My experience is limited to the No1 version.
I have been shooting a couple of hundred of these balls through my robot thousands of times and they are as good as many other brands

Thanks for the feedback! Maybe No1 isn't the one to go for because I'll be doing group training in addition to multiball. I've been wondering more if any of the lettered versions 'D', 'DJ', "G', 'S', 'X' etc. will be any different, or if they're just branded to copy other popular brands like DHS, Butterfly, Yinhe, etc.

My coach uses huieson balls for years. He prefers black ones.
Purple were lighter, softer and not round enough. Red+black are better, something between black and purple, but again had problems with their shape. Black ones are more consistent. There are still some bad balls among them, but percentage is usually lower. However, he got bad package of black ones couple of times, were almost all balls were bad. So it is possible that his purple or red+black ones were also bad package.
