Hello all,

I am buying an Innerforce ALC blade and I am looking to have a powerful combination of rubbers.

I am stepping down from Viscaria with 09c Forehand and 05fx Backend. It's a bit much for me in 50% of the times and it does not forgive my technique. I know i have to improve, but i feel I will do it with a slower blade.

Now a innerforce will be clearly a step down, but i am not looking to lose tons of speed in favor of control, as it will feel awkward, so my reason of thinking is to have a innercarbon blade with some rubbers to help me with the speed.

Can you recommend me some combinations please ?

P.S. I do play aggressive with 3rd or 5th ball, to close the deal. I do stay close-mid to the table. I am looking to open-ups everywhere I have the opportunity

I use Innerforce ALC (for the same reasons you state above) with D80 for backhand and I absolutely love it. I find it great for everything, push, flick, block, loop.
There is just enough catapult from the softer sponge (v 09c) to make things possible in terms of spin and it's hard enough that there's no real upper limit unless you're LSD.
FH rubber that isn't 09c.....you could try Glayzer 09c or Nittaku Fastarc G1?

How did you adapt to the innerforce after such a speedy blade like Viscaria ? Any tips to apply in order to adapt better ?

I find it hard to tame the hard rubbers like dignics, apart of 09c, which grabs the ball easily.
I do consider Fastarc G1 for my forehand side, while T19 for the backend (played it a long time and i can say is a T05 with more control) is an option.

I am curious what other people are recommending for the innerforce blade.

Thank you

I play G1 FH C1 BH but the nature of the blade seems to suit a lot of different rubbers.

As for how to play with it: Compared to a Viscaria, there is a lot more feeling of "catch and release" instead of "hit". Use that time to actively engage the rubber and manipulate the ball.

For the innerforce I use 1.9 dignics 05 on the forehand, enough dwell for control and power to hit through to the carbon. I use slower rubber - sriver on back hand (my weakness).

The other blade you could try is a Butterfly outerforce alc. Most controlled outer carbon blade I've tried - good with faster rubbers like Dignics 05, tenergy etc. Not a very fast outer carbon but more direct feel than innerforce but with plenty of control.

Thank you all for these inside.

I will try G1 this week. I am receiving the blade and I am excited to try it out.

I did hear a lot of bad impression for this blade...probably the wrong people have tried it. Have you got a term of comparation with Viscaria ?
Best rubber for innerforce alc is Dignics 05, in fact the rubber was released together with Harimoto Innerforce alc which is a just a bigger faster version of it.
For me D05 feels quite hard to activate it as it should be played. Don't have yet the right technique. I have played with 09c, which is amazing, a loop machine. However I have some people saying the Innerforce is a bit faster than Harimoto ALC.

This is what I am looking for, to have a lot more control and the rubbers to get me that speed missing from Viscaria. I reckon will have quite hard for the first 2-3 weeks to play it, as I am used with the reactive speed of Viscaria, to dazzle the oponent with the sheer speed, but as I said, most of times I surprise me with the ball going off table....

There are quite a few youtube reviews of the outerforce (compared to other outer carbon including viscaria), to get the best out of it harder rubbers (dignics 05, 09c 80 etc). It is probably 10% slower than the Viscaria but very easy to hit on the table - lots of dwell. It is more direct feeling than an innerforce layer alc- similar speed and not as catapulty a little less spin, but better for smashing and mid table play. Best get a heavier outerforce alc as a bit more speed.

Innerforce layer alc - is a little faster than harimoto alc - a friend has one we compared with the same rubbers (Dignics 05), harmimoto is slightly better at blocking sligtthly bigger sweet spot, the innerforce is little more agile with smaller head - less head heavy, easier close up.

Another blade is Butterfly Marcos Freitas alc - just trying out, little faster than Outerforce and Innerforce but again more control than viscaria/timo boll. Hope that helps

G1 is fine (a good match - I use 1.9) but haven't used Tenergy on innerforce - I find the Dignics is less catapult (harder/firmer) than Tenergy (only used tenergy 80). With Limba outer you do get more catapult with tenergy rubbers than dignics.

A little less catapult , a little more control, bounces not so close to rear line. Lose a little in speed but engages carbon a little quicker as thinner rubber. I used 2mm g1

Then moved to dignics 05 1.9 - gained speed but lose a little in control but it is more direct.

Does anyone know to what weights does innerforce blade come ? What's the minimum you have met ?

I am looking for one less than 86 grams. One shop was trying to sell me one in 94 grams, which for me is way over limit. Paired with a hard and medium rubber, I will have a shovel...

Mine was 90g , I usually go for around 88. If to light you lose speed. It's not a head heavy racket. All up I go between 175 to 185g.
