As a Serbian I really hope woman's team goes through the knock out stage. I love watching Aneta Maksuti play, she plays clean and has a very admirable amount of power on her loops

I like it honestly. It preserves some of what used to make the WTTTC special. While it is unfortunate that not every country makes it, more countries have a chance to play for the top prize.

How come USA womens team did not pick Amy Wang for this event? Instead they have picked a 14 year old and 17 year old.
Amy recently won the Americas cup 2 months ago and is definitely a top 3 USA female player. They also played Lily Zhang for the 3rd singles against Malaysia yesterday. Something wrong with the way the USA selected their players I feel.

You don't play your best player for only one match. That was silly.

You dont know the team better than the coach. Lily has struggled vs choppers and there was no guarantee that Jessica was good enough to beat their #3 player. Given how Sally performed, the coach chose the safest route to victory.

Are the stats on the Leading Players (i.e. Most Overworked Players) lists correct? Hugo in the top spot for men’s is shown as having played 6 matches but it’s actually 4 so far, unless I’m missing something.
