It seems, I'm getting too old for this 🙄
I started the VPN on Firefox. It's active. But the link still puts me in a country detection. How do I use (I want to watch my teams!!!!)?
unfortunately I don't know... no country limitations for me

There is clearly a gap in the rules when a fault is called after a receiver misses the serve. In tennis, the point is awarded to the server. In table tennis they replay the point. Makes no sense. Franziska got cheated twice. Though iMHO, the second one might have been a fault under traditional rules not these new ones lol.

A gap without a clear, good solution if the umpire calls it. The receiver can get startled by the fault call and whiff it for that reason.

Good point. I will have to rewatch the video for timing.

MT QF
JPN 2-0 GER
M3 Togami 1-3 Franziska (-6, -9, 8, -7)
G4 48 Togami served into the net, 49, 79, 711
"Retire" ain't cutting it now...

This one calls for its own post.

MT Grp2
JPN 2-1 FRA
M3 Togami 2-3 Coton (6, -4, 10, -9, -12)
G5 1213 the WTTC 2022 MT SF Togami struck again and didn't even serve on the damn table!
Retire, Togami! The same old Coton already gave him the chance blowing 2 game points in G3.

Why does this goddamn Togami only play when the big score is 1-1, he has the most experience in the bundesliga out of the whole team also. Man I'm changing my avatar, my idol keeps on failing me times and times again. I hope Tomo and Sora don't feel too much pressure when the script starts to look like Sweden and France all over again

I started having doubts on Togami after SGP GS 2022 and gave up on him after WTTC 2022...

Togami: I can handle when the team is down 0-2 or 1-1, but I get too nervous when we're up 2-0.
Matsushima: If Harimoto wins the first match, I have to win too. If I get a handicap in the first match, that's not too good. If Harimoto loses the fourth match, I have to lose the fifth.
Harimoto: Bro, can't you guys finish it within the first three matches? I'm not good at playing against penhold in the fourth match!

If this match goes like in the groups with Germany coming from behind to win it, it would be hilarious. I would have not put Togami in honestly, he is quite... flaky. I would have taken my chances with Shinozuka.
Lol... The upside ia clearly with Togami. Just take it for what it is, Franziska did a great job. Out rallying Togami is not easy lol.

They had ABC last time and lost, it was really the benefit of having played the first match which enabled adjustments for players to reverse or improve prior results.
Also why this format is questionable, the concept of seeding groups to begin with, but then having a coin flip to face each other again. Korea beating China to be 2nd instead of 3rd just to draw them again, they could've had the same with a loss.

This match win was deserved for Japan though. DQ couldn't take any of the tight moments and it would've needed a lot.
