Joo Sae Hyuk blade alternatives

the joo sae hyuk blade was one of the best for cut defence but since it has been discotinued, what are some alternatives for this blade. also, how would the butterfly defence 4 compare to this.

Wasn't the JSH blade just a rebranded Diode? If so, I'd just give the Diode V a try.

The Diode V is similar but uses different types of wood. I find it slightly more flexible.

The Victas Koji Matsushita Offensive is supposed to be similar. I’ve only tried the regular VKM and it’s a notch slower (and 10g lighter) than the JSH.

The JSH blade essentially, was an oversized topsinning blade.

Ask Nate to do something like that... make it 2 mm larger top and side dimensions... make it 5 or 7 ply with hide glue, aks for thinner limba outers and a softer core. He can do it... and it will be different and you will prolly like it.
