Just finished gluing.

1. LAC curls a lot, causing slight difficulty for gluing.
2. The sponge is certainly brittle.
3. I don't find the gluing between topsheet and the sponge too weak. The sponge itself is weaker.

Actually sometimes the sponge itself is what causes the bubbling.

If small pieces of the sponge break apart, that causes the attached pip to separate from the rest of the sponge.

Mine didnt crumble like that, i glued using rolling pin then cut with a scalpel. If the rubber has too much tension AND curl i recommend a press. I make a diy one with 2 Melamine board & some bolts.

As previously reported I sold my LAC after short test play but i still have the glued corners.
There is no crumbling of the sponge and it needs considerable force to tear the sponge from the top rubber. I also cut with scalpels and my cuts are neat and clean.

I received the $9 LaC today. This time it is the orange package in 40d hardness.

Recently I've put a sheet bought 6 months ago in Thailand and it has a bubble after 2 training sessions :-( I really love the rubber but wonder if this is still a problem with fresh sheets? I want to buy more on Aliexpress but don't know how to choose the newest ones if this is already fixed.

I havent had any issues with my sheet and i boosted twice.
But its much more expensive eight now 😬

Thanks! I don't mind it to be expensive because it is truly a nice rubber I just don't want to pay for something which bubbles in 2 hours :-/ Going to order today!
