Gan and coach Xiaoyu both reviewed it and said the 40 degree version is about 52-53 grams cut to Vis. Coach Xiaoyu also reviewed the 37.5 BH version and said it's a bit lighter at around 49 grams.
It might be unit-to-unit variation.
The general feedback from regular players is consistent: The performance is good, it’s just heavy. And it doesn’t absorb oil, so they’re worried they won’t be able to handle it.

37.5 came out lighter at 51g. That being said it came out much much bouncier.

I agree with that. The 39 did not want absorb booster very much. After glueing it feels a bit dead. I might try reboosting it over the weekend if it plays badly.

Yeah, very possible. I recently bought 10 LACs and measured all of them while still in package. The 5 red ones were remarkably consistent, ranging from 100.7 to 102.2 grams. The 5 black ones were not so much, 2 were within that same range, one was 98, and 2 were 94 grams.

Have you tested if they fall apart? The LAC recently had a pimple glueing issue.

Haven't had an issue with the 3 sheets that we've played with. Note that I also bought 3 sheets from Aliexpress before the more recent 10, but they were purchased only a couple weeks before (thr 10 were shipped by sea, so arrived much later though). The sponge is fairly fragile though, my first test sheet which admittedly went through a lot as I tested it on quite a few blades kind of tore apart at the edge.

For those 3 sheets I've played with, 2 were for about 2 weeks each on the BH side. I mostly do BH training these days so they went through a good bit. Another was played on a clubmate's FH. He hits fairly hard, it's been a couple weeks no issues with bubbling yet.

Perhaps there'll be issues when regluing, but we all go through rubbers pretty quickly, maybe 2-3 months at most, with 1 to 2 reglues in between at most, so probably not gonna be an issue for us.
