Long pimple chopping with a Stiga Clipper (or clones)

How bad of an idea is this? The blade is 7ply all wood and Heavy 95g~. Having only chopped with lighter defensive blades i can't shake off the idea of wanting a more offensive blade to assist my forehand. What does the extra weight of the blade and the 2 extra plies feel like? I know there is a north american player that uses this set up but i want to know if the idea is detrimental.

I think a lot of choppers use 7 ply attacking blades (althought I'm not sure how close they are to the clipper) to chop.

I guess that it depends on what LP you're using and if it has got sponge or not.

My def blade used to be Clipper. Unfortunately I broked it by accident. I think that Clipper is an excelent blade for long pimples.
