If they bill you duty, then that is also a possiblity. I was billed 45% duty (incorrectly) before.

Usually it is under 2 weeks for me. I don't know it is so much trouble for parcel receiving in your country until now. Paypal protection for 45 days is the insurance for buyers. I bought often and never lost a package in mail. May be you can leave them a message and ask about any trouble shipping to SA before you order. Discount for the blade finish before Monday or sold out prior.

And agree, must ask the shipper if they will send to South Africa, considering the postal service crisis we are having.

I heard from other forums (non TT), that many international shippers have stopped shipping to SA due to the crisis.

I hope some one can test the postal service to see if it is working again

Yeah, the strike is over "for now" according to one of the unions.

Yeah, I am also receiving post, post that was suppose to arrive 1 to 2 months ago.
I think they are busy sorting out all those delayed post first

I know people who have been waiting for international shipments (both air freight and sea freight), which is outstanding for 2 to 3 months already.
They haven't received anything, and the online tracking/telephone tracking can't say where the parcel is

Isn't that blade the old Stiga Allround now branded as Yasaka? I was once told that this blade is made in the same factory as the old stigas before Banda bought them. Stiga used to brand some as Yasaka and others as Alser etc. Any Stiga experts can confirm?

I dont think so.(i am no stiga expert though)
