Looking for an alternative to Golden Viscaria

Alright I know the title might be a bit clickbait but let me explain what I am looking for :

I love my viscaria and I am looking for a outer carbon blade with exaclty the same dimensions 150x157 mm, but knowing that golden vis is basically a viscaria with added weight to the handle, and knowing that i can't drop 1 grand in a piece of wood, I am looking for something similar with a lot of weight in the handle and therefore handle heavy to mimic the behaviour of a golden (I know it's not really possible, but something close).

Any idea ? I was thinking of the Yinhe D715 but I don't know the dimensions and I am afraid this is to head heavy. Thanks !

Golden Vis has clearer feedback and better "bite". The closest alternative is old Vis - R or before.

You can probably get one for less than $400

I mean... You could glue a coin at the bottom of the handle if you like more weight there. Or you can get something custom. SDC has a really good name.

Golden Viscaria feels quite different than a regular Vis aside from handle/balance - it’s got a much softer feel on hitting than any older or new Vis i have played.

I have an L series Viscaria and a Golden Vis. They don't play the same at all. The L series is slower and can't generate the same amount of spin as the Golden Vis.

If OP just want to add some weights to the handle, probably the best bet is use some rubber bands or glue some coins at the very end of the handle.

I would buy some 95 grams fan zhendong alc. I own one, the quality of the ball is unmatched....so yeah my Fan Zhendong is gold edition. IT is super soft and not that fast.

you all tell funny stories here I don't know who came up with the idea of looking for heavy ALCs, hoping they'd be the same as Golden Viscaria .
95 grams!?!?! Good luck playing with something like that.
I have two G.Vis, one 90 grams and the other 91.5 grams, and even with a rubber one grade lower than the max, it's hard to get below 190 grams. Of course I mean new rubbers not reglued from different blades covering only 80% of the head.... it's like driving Ferrari on cheapest 6 seasons old winter tires!!!!
A definite "NO" for 95 gram's G.VIS
95 grams FZD ALC = golden edition you made my day!!!!
Standard Viscaria or other related outer BTY ALC blade will not behave as Golden Viscaria. They are different but of course, dreams are not forbidden.

You know the story about broken Timo Boll Spirit which weight 97 grams? He didnt have better blade than this one.
You can Ask me how much Jonathan Groth custom Timo Boll alc weight. It is not 85 gram.

That's why I dont wanna respond you because you dont know ish about real life in table tennis community its only internet and praise golden viscaria.
How much Fan Zhendong Viscaria from Stiga Weights? I saw 95 grams.
Ok I AM not talking bad about Golden Viscaria. IT can be one of the best blade ever but there is no problem with 95 grams when the weight distribution is very low, because a lot players use fingers when they play, they didnt use big movement to put money on the table there is place for Koki Niwa and for Alberto Mino and you know what ? Koki plays faster than Alberto. He wants something cheaper so heavy koto alc is the budget version of Golden Viscaria

It's my main blade now, replacing the Jinshi/Chonglan KLCPro. In short, it sits between the W968 and Q968. Good balance between FH and BH shot quality. I really like it, but still searching for the unicorn.

there is no unicorn. You can find sweet blade but it will be too fast then you will put hard rubbers just to slow down short game and the feeling will be not the same

I have many blades myself, including the Viscaria Golden that you’re using.
And I’ve found that once players reach a certain level, the way they feel a blade doesn’t differ that much — and I believe the difference between the Viscaria Golden and the FZD (95g) is just the same.
