To be fair something really seems off on her racket, but maybe it's the rubbers that are cut weird. I think igors photo is form this match.

From phone it's a bit hard to judge, but seems like a Cybershape blade but a very worn one. Maybe she had to use a backup blade? Not so interesting topic anymore the only grinding that might have happened is between the table and the blade 🤧 But a lot of that 🤧

for those that use knife/blade to cut rubbers,
if a CS blade corner is not smooth, it is easy to get a bad cut.
The problem with CS blade is that it is straight, other than the area where there is a sharp bent.
so it is more difficult to hide a bad cut than say a round blade.

there is also a possibility a blunt scissors was used too.

no matter what, it was deemed legal by racket control and the umpire, so igor must just sit down and be happy

Yeah sure I don't care so much personally if a rubber is smaller or bigger than the racket, I see that all the time. Heck I don't even care if someone uses two black H3, I saw plenty of that in China and I honestly even agree with them. I get why they do it and I would do the same in their stead.
But if umpires said this is OK then fine.
On the other hand if a chinese player chips their rubber during play the umpire will crucify them and ask for backup racket. I think it also happened with Felix recently. So if Hana Goda can use this frankenstein of a paddle then I don't get why others are being bitched at.

(just as a side note I don't think Hana Goda can't cut a rubber, this obviously looks like a hand me down from a round racket, I am a bit baffled why stiga can't send her enough rubbers to not need this or maybe these rubbers she felt were amazing. Superstition is a hard biatch and she did beat Chen Xingtong so maybe not baseless superstition 🤔)
