Medium Pips. I need recommendations

Which version of attack 8 did you use? Because it comes in sponge hardnesses up to 53 deg. There's also the version of 388C-1 with a normal sponge which I've tried which is quite hard.
I used the regular version. The 388c-1 I used said japanese sponge on the label but it was too soft for me.

I use Dr N Aggressor Pro Red 1.5mm Sponge , my game has improved so much since using this rubber. My service return is so good now I can put my opponents in a lot of trouble with my service return. The best thing about this rubber is attacking as it produces a horrible ball to defend against as my opponents never really know what's coming there way when I attack as there are subtle changes like no spin slight topspin slight backspin but enough to put your opponent's off !!! I can chop really well with it even though it's been reported to not be it's strength. Blocking topspin with a soft grip produces a nasty knuckle ball !! I would only try it in 1.5 mm as it has such good around attack and defense!!!!

One of my team mates uses Dr Neubauer killer extreme which feels quite horrible to play against, lots of effect on the ball. he punches with them to great success and i must really lift the ball to return it which is difficult as the ball is coming so quick.

edit: upon more investigation they are actually short pips but play like medium

Do knuckle.
I believe a knuckle ball is a return that's that appears to have no Spin Float but actually will have Backspin on it !! Incredible hard to read as it's so slow and puts you out of your rhythm. lot's of my opponents struggle against my Knuckle ball !!!

The regular and King versions of the 388 C-1 have quite hard sponges (they are NOT tensors).
How soft do you estimate the AirSponge to be?

If 563 is too soft for you, I reckon everything else will be too.
The Chinese sponges (388c-1 normal version, 563 pro 38 version) are amongst the hardest that exist for med pips.

I'm going to save you the hundreds of dollars and tell you you're on a wild goose chase.

I have 1.5mm Killer Extreme on the backhand and opponents hate it. I’ve played 21 matches with it. However, after the first couple of sets, opponents start to adjust to it. So I’m still learning and working on mixing things up and consistency. I’d like to be able to generate more power with it . Any advice from anyone who has mastered it?
