My personal experience with SANWEI NOVA Carbon, and some tips on how to use this blade.

Hello bro,

You are welcome, I'm very happy to answer to you.

I think this message could be helpful:

Spin: Gear Hyper 39°< Target PE
Speed: Gear Hyper 39°> Target PE
Weight: Gear Hyper 39°> Target PE

And I saw your balde is V5 PRO, I think if you use all wood blade, you'd better use Gear hyper.

Regards,
thank you so much , or would there be any other better rubber recommendation?

Of course, I really love STN, it is our the most sucessful rubber.

Not so hard, sticky top sheet, good control and low throw angle.

It is a very good rubber for looping attack style.

I love it so much and put it on my every blade.

Yes, and it depends on the different hardness of Gear Hyper.

Let's make 39° a example.

Spin STN>> Gear Hyper 39°
Speed STN< Gear Hyper 39°
Weight STN= Gear Hyper
Throw Angle STN< Gear Hyper 39°

Over all, STN is a mix rubber tend to Chinese rubber.
Gear Hyper is a Europe Rubber.

okay , it seems gear hyper seems to be a fast rubber but not spinny as the others , and being that i like european rubber styleand the blue variant , i think i'd go for it , thank you so much

Good morning,

For Gear Hyper and Taiji 2023, there are very different rubbers.

1. Though both the sponge of Taiji 2023 and Gear Hyper are the cake sponge, the hole of the Taiji 2023's is large.
Gear Hyper's is common size.

2. When you use Gear Hyper in your backhand it is more like a European bh rubber, non-stiky surface, cake sponge...
But the Taiji is more like a mix- rubber, half-stiky surface and cake sponge.

3. For speed, no doubt the Gear Hyper is faster.
4. For hardness, even the softest Gear Hyper is 37°, Taiji 2023 is about 35°.
5. For throw angle, to be honest both of them are not very low, if you want a low throw angle rubber for backhand, you'd better choose Gear Hyper 38°/39°.

Is it worth while for me to try Tajii Plus 2023?

It depends bro, I don't want to encourage people to buy irrationally.
1. If you want to try a mix-rubber, buy
2. If you want a light combintion, buy
3. You need a hard and low throw angle rubber, don't buy
4. You want high speed far from table, rather than control, don't buy
I just tested the Tajii Plus 2023.

Its not the fastest or the most spinny, but I play a controlled game on BH so I don't benefit from too much of either.

I put it on a Nittaku S-CZ with H3 (non neo)39 BS on the other side. I relly love how this blade feels and the Tajii didn't dissapoint. It works pretty good for me. Spin is perfect, could have been a bit more speed but what the heck...

What I remember most from last night is how easy it flicks. The throw throw is a little higher than what I like so I will have to retrain my fast attacks slightly, but all in all I would recommend this as a replacement for a Mark V at a better price point.

I didn't get around to test my Carbon Nova yet.

Cheers
