I believe 8.5mm is the thinnest for shakehand still okay with taiwan cypress. Which around 105g. Recommend for pips player.
This is not a fast blade as any carbon layered. But its a unique with the feeling and the wonderful smell.
Still a bit heavy 😟

Cheers

110 for a 9.1. This is dense wood. I'm thinking you should try a jpen in the modern Xiom Hibi O Tour head style shape, with a smaller and angled head for easier switching between forehand and tpb. And handle must be shorter eith an extention of something light like cork or balsa, with a small weight at the end to balance it out. The smaller top of the bat head makes it less head heavy, allowing easier and swift change from forehand to backhand.

I just wanted to ask if what kind of cedar or cypress is this? Left is sanwei h10 and right is the neottec amagi all+. I love the sanwei h10 at 8.5mm but it is so heavy for me. Thin it down to 7mm but the feel is so different.
