Have you found any? I am also looking for an all wood blade with a viscaria width handle. I really like the loki k5. I also had the xiom allround s straight. I think the flared version would be as nice. What options do you have on your purchase list?

Hi, instead of looking for new blades i started to use the blade (Tibhar Libra Zodiac SAC). I find the handle on this blade to fit perfect. The only problem is that its almost to smooth when i get sweaty. My goal is to use the same blade for as long as possible (lets see) and put my money into 1+1 coaching. I Changes my fh rubber to Hurricane 3 and this helped alot with the short game. Maybe try a little softer and slower bh rubber than Dignics 80. The Nittaku G-1 i find a little to hard feeling even the 47 hardness sponge and would choose Dignics 80 over it. Im thinking of Yasaka Razka 7 or something a little more tacky like the Yasaka Shining Dragon 2 or Glazer 09C. What i like about the Dignics is that is linear (and G-1).

@ToH You are in Europe... there are MANY custom blade makers who make a custom blade for less than the popular BTY blades... you get to specify how thick, long, shape, etc...

This is worth looking at.

I made a challenge to custom blade makers and with a $400 USD budget got 4 blade makers to submit excellent blades very suitable for me.

And the search go on.... The Xiom is wide, but not thick enough. The Nittaku s series s-cz is ok, but it would be better if it was bigger.
I tried a Butterfly blade today. A little to fast for my liking, but the handle was perfect. It was the Primorac carbon. I see that the handle messurement on the homepage look the same as other models, but ofc they are not in real life. Have anybody tried the new Outerforce series from Butterfly? Im thinking about the ALC or the ZLC, and can tell me about how the handle feels?

I decided to order a blade from Soulspin. I choose the Basalt blade with a Thick flared New era Handle. Still waiting for the blade. I really hope it will solve my problems and make me stop buying a new blade every months (yeah right:). We have a small importer/tt shop who visits the club in my area, and he have good connections with Loki. He said they can make a blade with the handle i want. Their homepage is not the best. Anybody got some experience with a innercarbon blade from loki they can recomend? I am not looking for their fastest blade, but focus more on a "slower" blade with a little hold.

I got the Basaltec Inner from Nittaku which is made by Soulspin. It’s really nice but I think it’s a bit heavy and the handle is too thin and a bit strange… I just got Nittaku Ma Long 7 LG (no longer made) from TT11, This one has a handle I can get along without tape… But it’s more like off - upto off… It has a great feel also, but so does the basaltec…

I got the Ma long 7 LG and the handle on this one is good. This and Tibhar Libra ZAC Zodiak (Always have to google this name) is the only blades i was happy with the handles. I was not sure wich handle i should go for with soulspin, but after some discussion with customer support they recommended the thick concave one. They said is much wider and thicker than a regular Butterfly blade, so i have high hopes. Its around 90 gram so its heavy enough, but reasonable i guess with a large handle. The day after i met with the tt shop owner who told me he can get my any Loki blade with a custom handle. I googled a little and found Loki Rxton 5 Pro wich got Limba-Ayous-Basalt hybrid-Ayous (Center). I think i have to order this one with a Large Flared handle and compare it to the Soulspin. Thanks to everybody for recommendation

Any european made blade: taller and larger people than the asians, therefore taller and larger hands. So yeah, Donic, Stiga Legend, Tibhar (their straight handles are damn large !), and so on.
I got a few them, none is big enough, only flared though, don’t like straights…

Donic Waldner gold edition (Korean) is a little larger but not enough…

Cheers
