Need some info on a new blade/rubbers for my boy?

- 9 year old been playing with my old bat - Persson all-round with Donic Bluefire m2 (old and knackered) - any suggestions?

Hi!

What does your boy think about the M2? Does he like it? If he does i would recommend buying M2 again. If he thinks that it is too fast, maybe M3 is the way to go, or maybe even something slower than that. As far as the blade goes i would recommend him to stick to that blade for a while. It is a great blade IMO.

What's wrong with replacing the FH rubber with the same rubber? it won't cost an arm and a leg. Unless you are like me and do Mortal Kombat with Ur blade, it will last and last. You should be good to go for a reasonable figure.

Yup, he gets on well with the M2's but they're a little old…! Blades pretty smashed up as well - I've had it for a fair few years…!

Then i would have got him 2 Bluefire M2 and either a Persson Power allround or a Appelgren Allplay. Persson is a little bit harder, stiffer and faster then Appelgren.
