TTTrack: An app that is the first of it's kind. This is a very unique and powerful tool used to analyse table tennis. Table Tennis has never before been able to be analysed, purely because of the speed of the game and the amount of things that would need analysed.

This app is devised to be simple to use. It uses only finger touches, and from that you can determine a full statistics report for the game that you analysed.

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/tttrack/id559145900?ls=1&mt=8

You analyse one player (Player 1) and from that you can gather the following data.

How many points:

Points Played =
Points Won =
Point Lost =

SERVICES
Short Serves =
Long Serves =
Long Fast Serves =
Short Backspin =
Short Sidespin =
Short Float =
Short Topspin =
Service Error =
Points Won On Service =

RETURN OF SERVICES
Flick =
Touch Short =
Push Long =
Topspin =
Receive Error =
Service Error =
Points Won On Return Of Service =

WINNING POINTS
Forehand Winners =
Backhand Winners =
Lob Winners =
Push Winners =
Block Winners =
Flick Winners =

UNFORCED ERROR
Forehand Error =
Backsand Error =
Lob Error =
Push Error =
Block Error =
Flick Error =

Above is a list of the details you will receive after you watch a player and use the app. It is perfect for working out player trends, shot selection, whether a player is negative or positive etc.

It also includes a very cool 'Eagle Eye' feature when enabled you would be able to see where each and every shot was played and each shot would be colour coded with a separate colour (so you can see where they play the majority of their Forehands etc). It includes email functionality to quickly share the stats results with coaches and fellow players to give a heads up on that player.

Truly a very worth while tool for any table tennis player/coach who wants the edge on their opponent or to work out parts of their own game.

There will be regular updates to improve UI.

Enjoy !!

A TTDaily promotion on the app would be great...

There may not have been an app for this before, but your second statement "Table Tennis has never before been able to be analyzed..." is inaccurate. CNT has a computer do all of the analysis like this for the players so that they know exactly how and where to hit to give their opponents the most trouble. If you've seen the videos of CNT players studying Boll they are viewing the computer's analysis. China has no threats currently because all of the best players have already been put into the computer for analysis.

Hey MR. Richard, I'm sorry that I may have been inaccurate, it's just I have play a lot of table tennis and watched a lot of table tennis and I have not seen data produced for some of the things that is within this app. If so and there is a 'computer app' for that then great - well atleast now the average person can analyse their opponent without having to be in a national team or organisation. This is the first revision of the app, and there will be several UI updates and other minor things ironed out. Of course there is room for improvement.

Actually this is one of 2 apps I have been working on for 7 months, the other I think will get more interest as i put a lot of work into it. I submitted both apps at the same time, this one was accepted the other had some image resolution issues so i hope within a short period of time you guys here at TTDaily will see it also.

If any of you guys have suggestions for the app feel free.. and i will see what i can do. Like i said, it is revision one and there is still work to be done :)

I thin maybe it would be better to have chop and push as two seperate things, otherwise some people will get confused...IMHO they are different strokes lol...the app looks good though :)
If the return is a loop and you enter 'push' as the third ball played, you will probably remember it was a chop, hehe. Maybe it is an idea to make a different set of buttons for defenders or make an option where you can select which rubbers the player is using (long pips/short pips/smooth)

Yes there will be a youube video on the app very soon. Also the next update will include various UI changes, some buttons added - and a help tab to fully understand the app.

It is not a bad idea to have a separate way to analyse defenders, however, there is not too too many shot variations for defenders ..

In future update im devising a way to determine service positioning - so user can see the types of serves and where they were served.

The app is for analysing a player - you watch the point, remember what service/receive as played - and you remember how the point ended with a winner/error. After you log those it gives u an option to add winner location (if you wish)
