Yeah it looks like
- they discountined, lack of performance consistency he didnt use it long time
- he used different blades with handle
- handle stay the same = new composition
For me they will use the handle and new composition
from where do you base this on? a lot of people who had contact with hugo say that he uses HAL for a long time already

and the rest we discussed broadly in this thread

Hi friends. The "key" of low weight of Hugo TMXi PRO may be is wood material "samba". May be this low weight is intentionally sought effect. Before many years (40 ...50) clipper of Stiga was around 95 grams weight. Before 10 years bought Tibhar Samsonov pro black edition - 84 grams. This type of blades are mostly samba(aoyos, obeche, abachi) and very thin layer of limba. May be samba wood can vary its weight in large range?
P.S. Last year bougt Felix Lebrun Hyper carbon - 86 grams :)

Comparing AJH TMXi vs Hugo TMXi Pro. The weight on the Hugo is 84gr while the AJH is 88gr. The Central core is thicker on the Hugo while the outer ply is thinner. The finish on the HUGO is better and the edges are sanded the carbon fibre doesn't seem to spill out like in the AJH TMXi and TMXi Pro.
I played with both and the Hugo seems to have a more metallic feel. The Hugo feels crispier.
The weird thing is Hugo seems to be faster, although being 4gr lighter. The AJH had a more woody feel.
In terms of control, I didn't notice much difference.
On the picture left hand side is the AJH and the right hand side is the HUGO

TMXi regular or TMXi PRO is on the left side? Tks.

My ALX has Omega 8 china on the forehand and Omega 8 pro on the backhand. It feels pretty easy to play with it. There is a little crispy feel when bouncing a ball. It does everything well and when you hit harder a little, the power will also surprise yourself. Omega 8 China is somehow similar to a boosted H3, not really as bouncing as other hybrids.

I know this isn’t the Omega thread, but please, do report on the durability of O8 China. thx! 🙏🏼

Can anyone who owns Hugo tmxi pro tell me if this is head heavy blade ?

How does the hugo tmxi pro compare with nittaku hayata hima h2 ?
It doesn't look head heavy to me
I went ahead and got Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 from TT11. Found 85gm blade which is probably rare. Nittaku high quality and excellent feel. Loved the racket. Hopefully will try the Hugo TTMxi pro soon :)

Good luck with it, although the composition of both blades are slightly different:

Hina Hayata H2: Limba, Limba, Carbon, Ayous, Carbon, Limba, Limba
Hugo TMXi Pro : Limba, Ayous, (Arylat, Zylon and Carbon), Ayous, (Arylat, Zylon and Carbon), Ayous, Limba. (6mm)

Hugo TMXi Pro might be springier and lighter (Ayous lighter and springier on the second ply) and 84gr would be normal/intended weight of the blade whereas 85gr is on the lighter side of the H2 both blade have the same head size 158 x 152mm

Hello friends, not have HH2, but from photo above from ttgearlab layer under top limba is ayous(prefer samba :)). May be HH2 is prety close to AJH TMXi PRO not to HUGO TMXi PRO. Core of HUGO is maximum huge and very thin limba and samba. HUGO is prety close to Felix hyper carbon except trimetrix :) of course, good luck.
PS: AJH TMXi PRO in My opinion is amazing blade. One thing is missing to become ... a legend - consistence (same density) of wood. I have seven AJH TMXi PRO closer to 90 grams, two of them is a little bit ... hollow with a little bit more vibration, and five like a dream :). They (these five) have no limit (quote doppelmoral). In other hand felix hyper carbon (86 grams) feels more hollow like has no power. Good luck again.

If you have used both, can you help with differences when blocking , drives and top spin ? Also control
I would say, due to one extra limba layer, HH2 is not as spin friendly as opposed to TMXi where second layer is ayous and is a tad bit softer and probably gives the "so-called" ball hugging ability. dwell, if you want.
