Nexy Calix I experience with poly ball?

Previously I had excellent experience with the NEXY Calix I blade.....block, 1st loop, variability but unfortunately I broke it...however I used a celuloid ball

Any experience to share with me when using the plastic ball??? thanks

I take it you've noticed that Calix II is somewhat different than Calix.

IMHO, Nexy Calix is an excellent blade with unique properties. I've got both Calix and Calix II with the same rubbers, and can switch between each with very little adjustment. Short game and looping feel a bit better with the slower Calix, and blocking/driving/smashing are correspondingly a bit better with the faster Calix II. Dual impact is more pronounced with Calix, and less with Calix II, and because of that Calix II feels less special, almost like a Xiom V1 with a thin handle.


TLDR: If you were happy using Calix with celluloid balls, keep using it with plastic balls.

I like the Calix II as it is a bit faster and feels more like a flexy composite blade that it is, great feel, does most stuff very well. Never tried Calix with Poly Ball, gave mine away before that era.

thanks you are right!!! I have tried Calix I with the plastic balls and the sensation is great
however i had to use max rubbers and for calix II I feel much better with the 2.0

it is true that calix II does not have such extremes as Calix I.....it is a very unique blade

Calix I has about to largest dual impact contrast in the entire Nexy lineup.

BTW... I just unpacked a box with my Korean test model of Calix I amazingly inside.
