That is really in crap condition. Plus with the owners name on it, the value is way down.
I tell you what, I'd love to try a blade like that. I'll more than double what you paid for it. I'll offer 10GBP and even pay the shipping.
Hehe! Yeah.. The last ehrlich sold on Tradera was a 1957 blade with that crazy thick sponge that looks like a balloon.. That sold for over 3000 sek.. Sure, this aint it... But ill hang on to it just in case it play's well!
Did a ball-bounce-test this morning comparing the Ehrlich to my new(old) Banda JO Waldner. Boy oh boy is the Ehrlich softer... The Banda is so much harder it sound like comparing fingersnaps to footstomps...
Must find suitable rubbers for this old thing. It came with two old red Yasaka pips rubbers.. maby I should try to get some fresh ones from the same brand?
Hmmm. The friendship RITC 802-1 in 1.5 sponge was not that fun on the Ehrlich..
Edit:
Im not quite sure what to expect from this blade ether.. It's real comfy in the hand and the blade feels solid. But its way to soft to play like Im used to.
Thing is, after watching that vid, I really like to try the def-game! hopefully that can help in understanding the mecanics behind how the old folks play, and help read spin. Would be nice to get such a setup to be able to train with.
Its to soft for modern rubbers imo. But I could be wrong.
If you see what it feels like with smooth rubbers that you already have, it may help you figure out what might work with it since I think you have more experience playing with smooth rubbers than pips. Is that right?
