Many table 1 and 2 matches are saved at http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/2012/sports/table-tennis.
I think all table 1 matches are saved at http://www.eurovisionsports.tv/london2012/index.html (Table Tennis Playlist).

I don't know about the 2008 vids, I didn't follow the Olympics that year.

Yeah I think so.. Gao Ning vs Bojan Tokic was live on tv, but that was on table 3. Only local TV stations seem to have broadcasted some table 3 and 4 matches.
You can still watch Maze vs. Kreanga though, it was on table 2.

I don't know. But those borders in Mitz's videos seem to be some sort of bypass. I've seen people do that with TV animation series as well. Mirroring the video will probably have the same effect, but that won't be a good solution.

Turn ExpatShield on (it should show a green shield at the bottom right of your screen) before you go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/2012/sports/table-tennis, or else you won't see the video links. At the right there's the Table Tennis Schedule. Click a day and then underneath it will show the schedule of that day, including the "Catch Up" links.

As Steven says, the best place to watch is bbc.co.uk. To get there I usually go on any random live video, click more videos at the top (scroll over the video) and go from there.

It's a free program (google it) that gives you a temporary English IP address (so that BBC's site thinks you're Britain). You can just turn it on/off whenever you want to watch videos there.
Name is ExpatShield by the way.
