I also found Rozena to be sluggish if not paired with a nice direct blade. When I tested it on Outerforce CAF I found it quite hard to play a ball properly long. I'm really curious about Glayzer in particular, because I've only felt it on a thin 5ply before and that was very underwhelming. I know it's supposed to come alive better on a firm blade but don't have experience with that yet.Rozena and Glayzer have a higher ceiling than most people give them credit for in my opinion.
I think you'll find them nice on an outer carbon if you have already played carbon before. Glayzer is fairly forgiving but is also fairly hard, so I think it can feel hard to generate quality on a softer blade.
