the topsheet of my battle 2 prov orange sponge was starting to detach from the sponge so i went ahead to order a battle 2 prov blue sponge along with 60ml bottle of haifu seamoon

i want to see whats all the fuss about chinese blue sponge rubber

I received an used 2015 Donic Waldner Off WC89, flared with 98g. With Joola Tronix ZGR 2.0mm on both side, edge tape, glue I crossed the 200g barrier

my battle 2 blue sponge arrived today

i glued it on and went to go hit with it unboosted

i kinda like it? there is not much difference with the orange sponge i had aside from the blue sponge being easier to block for some absurd reason, to me that is a good thing

the rubber at 39 degrees hardness was a tad too hard for me to play with however so tonight i am boosting it with one layer of seamoon and then i will see how it plays after the boost

update: it played worse

doesnt mean its unplayable but i have to play softer and be way more careful when looping which is not really what i like
