I did purchase the Omega Pro 8, o heck, what dissapointment. Cannot play with that rubber. Good for smashing, not much anything else. The boundary between spinning and smashing through the sponge was too thin. Balls always went net or long. I will stay with different rubbers. This one too finicky. Over the last 7 years of my life i played many rubbers, this is the first one that is completely messed up for me.

I glued it on, around May 4th. Played about 9-10 sessions with the rubber on the backhand. 2-3 on the FH. On either side it was completely unstable. Whenever I switched to the Xiom C55 the ball was stable, spinny. Whenever I switched to Pro 8 it was all over the place. I was twiddling every couple of balls in the last session, yesterday I just ripped the rubber off the blade, and gave it away. I will be glueing something else today.

Planning a real EJ summer:

- Stiga Inspira Plus directly from Japan. (Already tried it, I just wanted a viscaria-like blade but not viscaria because everyone has viscaria 😁)
- DHS Wang Chuqin in exchange for my HL5 (arrived last week, still have to try it).
- Second handed but practically new Freitas ALC.
- Hurricane National Blue sponge also incoming because one has to try the difference with provincial no?

I'm strongly eyeing the new Darko Jorgic blade too, I have never tried an asymmetric blade, I know there are so many non believers, but well, I have to try it don't I? Also the OSP Martin AC and the OSP Vario AC (that I imagine very similar to the Jorgic one) but I think I'll try and be patient and wait for some second hand to come out for these ones.

Found a Sanwei Fextra 7 30th for cheap so I grabbed one. The handle looks alright for me and it's supposedly a more flexible, more elastic Clipper, so I'm curious. Just hoping I don't get a QC dud.
If you want a more elastic Clipper I'd recommend the Stiga Pure if you have some spare cash. I love this blade and you can get it Cybershaped too. Cybershape Clipper is also an upgrade to the normal Clipper as well IMO

Thanks, but I'm not looking for anything specific. I'm pretty sure I've already bought the for-now perfect blade for me with the 5X Inner. The rest is just experimenting and buying backups in case I tear the handle off that one.

Yesterday was my first training with FX-D. Really nice and easy going rubber. Does not have the power, but its stable AF. I am going to stick with it. For my level its perfect. I am pretty sure I can get "some" power from it, but I enjoy the stability.
