I got my hands on a Stiga OC with probably 10+ y.o. rubbers that were completely shiny and with broken edges. When I peeled them (with care), some wood fibers remained stuck to them (dark streaks in the photos) and the blade surface looks a little rough.
Is it worth restoring it and if so is it better to sand it with fine sandpaper or use some sort of glue or sealant to glue the fibers back?
I would either use it as backup/testing rubbers or gift it to a friend. It has the Master handle, it's just over 5mm thick and weights 82g.
