Rubber curving up?

Hello hello,
I was re-gluing one a rubber of mine, (Donic Baracuda Max) as it grew a bubble, and as I finished applying a layer of BTY Free Chack to it, I noticed it was curving up quite extraordinarily. I am currently not sure if this has anything to do with the glue, the rubber, or if this is just normal in table tennis equipment. I have only glued the twice in the past and I put no more than two thin layers of glue onto it. WP_20130720_003[1].jpg

It is a little reverse dome. That is not very much reverse either, You should not have a problem getting the rubber to adhere to the blade unless the surface is walnut and you applied too much sealer to the blade. otherwise, not much to worry about.

This behaviour is typical of many rubbers, but the Donic ones I've had are the worst (Acuda S2). I take it it's because they're "boosted" and after they're glued and removed, the sponge shrinks.

I think if it shrinks too much and becomes too small for the bat, you can use PO, or simply a layer of booster to restore the sponge to its initial dimensions (and flatness).

Yes, I remember reading a Donic magazine advertising it's rubbers and it talked about the Donic formula and how some rubbers have an in-built speed glue affect, as lots of rubbers these day have, and then it went on to say how you shouldn't reglue it frequently for reasons as to damage the characteristics of the sponge.
Shame how some of my favourite rubbers behave like this :( Acuda is one of my favourite, if not favourite stream of rubbers :D
I find Tenergies a bit too heavy for my taste.
