I'm on a mission to create a speedy table tennis racket for fun without spending a fortune. Can you recommend an affordable blade and rubber combo that delivers extreme speed? Share your experiences and tips!

Maybe a Yinhe T8 with MXP?

For blades the Sanwei CC or t5000. They are rockets for under 30 euros.

Rubbers MXP and Bluestorm Z1 turbo.

Well mine (as shown on the left) is certainly very fast and the blade was not expensive - around 50 GBP. You may however be looking for cheaper rubbers than I am using, so I wil defer to others on the question of rubber choice !

Yinhe T4S (5 wood 4 carbon) or T10/11 series (balsa carbon)

I would recommend looking at Butterfly Rozena, Xiom Vega series for affordable speed.

If you want an extremely fast paddle the get a Joola R1. It was too fast for me. I didn't like it.
However, it is great if you can flat hit line of sight balls.

Don't think they make those anymore.

For a super fast blade that you can easily and cheaply buy, get a Yinhe T-10+. 2100+ Hz frequency for like $20.
