Sharara re-elected as ITTF president

After an impressive fourteen years as the President of the International Table Tennis Association Canada’s Adham Sharara has been re-elected at the annual general meeting which was held on Wednesday 15th May coinciding with the 2013 World Table Tennis Championships.

The popular Canadian managed to overcome the challenge from European Table Tennis union president Stefano Bosi of Italy by 149 votes to 55 meaning that he will stay as president for a further four years.

Shara commented “I am extremely pleased that is expected, the delegates of the AGM understood the importance of my work and understood very clearly our future plans, the overwhelming support that my team and myself have received gives us that extra motivation to try as hard as possible to ensure table tennis is in the top five sports in the world”.

Okay, could someone please englighten me why should they investigate him? I've seen a couple of "hate" threads created about this guy, but they were created by the same user, so i could not tell if they were reliable sources of information or not...
