"If you have the money and time, try everything out. This is a sport, and unless you're a professional or something like that, everything is allowed. (I started this year by trying short pips on my forehand, but I didn’t like them, and last year I switched my backhand to long pips and antispin, which I really liked, and now I play with that and it works perfectly for me.) I have three rackets—one with DHS Hurricane III, another with Dignics 09c—and I switch them often when I want to experiment with new sensations, like R53, MX-p, etc. You can’t know what works for you if you don’t experiment. Eventually, there will come a time when you’ll say, 'This is it, this is my thing, I’m sticking with it.'... As long as you don’t go bankrupt, everything’s fine, and the Chinese rubbers are $30 or less."
