Hi guys! I want to share with you a very simple but effective device for training without a partner. Maybe someone uses this in this form, but I haven't heard anything about it. This is an ordinary wooden board with stops that is placed on the table. With it, you can train the accuracy of serve placement and 3-ball attack alone, without a partner or a robot. Depending on the strength and direction of the serve, you can train access to the ball, chiquita, forehand flick over the table and topspin from different areas of the table. I made the return board from scrap materials, spending zero money and little time. You can repeat this or do it better.
I liked to practice the accuracy of serving placement by blocking the part of the table where the serve should not be served. This is good, for example, when training a fast serve in a straight line to the opponent’s right corner (3 foto). Also I can train the actual attack on the ball returning from the board. At first, I was hampered by the central stop, which I hit very often, but in fact this is exactly the place where it is most convenient for the opponent to attack and where it is not worth serving. Yes, this is not a full-fledged partner or even a robot, but it is free and allows you to train alone if there are no other options.
