Spinlord FH short pimples

After developing tennis elbow (I'm 42 years old), i was advised by the physiotherapist to switch to a lighter setup. The one I'm using right now is around 185 grs (Tibhar Alexis Lebrun Off / FH Xiom Vega Pro MAX / BH Xiom Vega Korea MAX).

I'm checking some Spinlord short pips rubbers because they're not that expensive on tabletennis11. Which one would you recommend to switch from inverted? Checking Waran 1, 2 or 3 but undecided. I'll be using Dr. Neubauer Bloodhound All+ (75 grs). Thanks!

I have heard good things about Waran 1 and 2, they've been out for a while. Though I'd recommend either Rakza PO or VO>102 from my own experience, they are fast and spinney and easy to transition to from smooth

I do not know how you are going to play, but typical play with short pips is aggressive attack that can make more damage to your elbow. If you plan just to block is ok, or if you want some really soft short pips like the Butterfly Challenger then you can cut and have a lot of control on a soft game. If you want to continue playing like you are doing, maybe is better to use a lighter blade (Balsa) and lighter inverted rubbers.

I'm penholder SP and my style is aggressive, hitter. I played a few years ago with Waran in the forehand, if you want to use it to attack, it will work. It is a bit hard, not so sensitive to the spin, and has a bit of a sink effect for your opponent, it is easy to attack long backspin shots, but your swing should be short. In my experience it is a nice SP, a great sound when you hit the ball hard but, to me, it is weak in the game a middle distance from the table and bad from a long distance. If you are no close enough to the table the ball sinks into the net, please consider that my experience is attacking, if you want to use it like a chopper, maybe it could be good from far of the table.
If you are changing from inverted rubber to short pips, I would go for the most iconic SP in the world...Friendship 802-40, almost the same price in the store, a bit softer...it gives you spin (not the same as an inverted but good enough), and you can hit, topspin, and serve....it makes everything right for a beginner with SP considering the price.
Remember that you should change your technique to hit the ball and not expect that it will work "almost" the same as an inverted rubber....if you are looking for an SP with the most "similar" feeling and spin as an inverted, you should look for an SP with tensor and that is another level of price.

Spinfire SP are pretty close to inverted play, available in 1.5

For light inverted, Rozena and Tenergy in 1.7

I agree. 802-40 is light, and it's a good transition from inverted rubber.

Spinfire is probably the most similar to inverted rubber, so you could start there as well. It's faster than 802-40 which will put less stress on your elbow. But it is 3x the price.

Waran is very nice as well, but not so similar to inverted rubber. I would say 802-40 is the best starting place. If you find that you really like the pips effect, you can switch to Waran or Spectol.

For the blade, All+ is going to require some power from you, which may not be good for your elbow. Then again, maybe the low weight will offset it.

EDIT: You can make 802-40 faster by boosting it. For this you probably want a harder sponge, 38 degrees, which isn't sold on TableTennis11 but it's sold on Ali Express.
