Why does it say apolonia and harimoto alc in your profile thing aha but yep I think either Franziska or Apolonia

I haven’t updated it!! Lol it also says I use D09C but past 6 wks have moved to H3N provincial however my spare blade which is Mizutani ZLC I still have D09C.

my current blades are Lin GAOYUAN ALC and Mizutani ZLC with firmer being my main blade. My Apolonia is currently being used by a team mate for the past 2 months he’s not given it back yet but I’m not bothered. Lol

How long does your dignics 09C last? may I know. I've been looking to upgrade but since it's pricy, I'm trying to figure out the balance between the price and it's longetivity. I know it all depends on how much you play. I just want something reliable which I can use for as long as possible despite the cost.
And one more thing I'd like to ask in addition is the difference in longetivity between H3 (basically either provincial BS/national BS) and 09C.
Thanks in advance.

D09C lasts a decent amount of time again dependant on how often u play but it lasts longer than Tenergy and the other Dignics as I use D80 on bh and that wears out faster than my D09C use to.

regards to H3N I can’t comment yet as it’s first time using it. I initially used a team mates used H3N Prov orange sponge for 2 wks and since the new year I have been using H3N provincial blue sponge which I boosted with 2 layers of seamoon so I have been using that for 5 wks. I also have a new H3N prov orange sponge which I will use in few wks. Idea is when the blue sponge is ready to reboost I will boost the new orange sponge and try that instead so I can get a comparison for myself which I prefer.

if I had to guess I would say H3N would last longer but H3N has to be boosted and it’s fractionally slower and controlled but also when boosted I do think it has a slightly softer feel than D09C. Depends on what sponge is used and how it’s boosted, I use 39 degree sponge 2.15 and boosted with 2 layers of seamoon.

You really want try a spinny setup, but still looking for carbon fast blade, dont make sense, you want more control and spin with priority like you say. why not try a Korbel Japan, or just try a 5ply wood like Primorac normal version? and also slower rubber like DHS H3 Neo or continue with your Tenergy on Korbel Japan or Primorac?

I see. I've seen some people commented that dignics 05 last longer than 09c that's why. Like for how many months were you able to play with your 09c? I'm basically using as my fh rubber.H3 Neo Prov BS is around $62 and the normal non-national haifu seamoon (100 ml) cost $25 on TT11 which in total is $87Dignics 09c alone itself cost about $94 on official BTY online website. Comparing these two $87 and $94 I still can't decide what to get. personally I just want something which will last longer for paying such amount.Any suggestion please. That'd be much appreciated.p.s I have neither used h3 (or any chinese rubber) as well as high end tensor rubbers like tenergy or dignics. My previous setup was lost lol and I need a upgrade. My old setup was an all wood blade (fh & bh - Joola Rhyzm P). I'm still waiting for new blade from Xiom which An JH uses and also BTY fzd as well. I've trained for a year and a half with coach at a local club. After not playing for almost 2 years I'm setting to get back on the table now. Also now I won't be able to play as much as before due to school and stuffs but still I want to play in a possible time I could since I love the sport deeply and yeh that's it:) sry if my comment was too long distracting you. no intention to do so i just wanted to share and gain knowledges in this wonderful place ttd.

Any suggestion on what I've aksed above earlier pls🙌

If you want a significantly more controlled and spinny blade, buy Korbel Japan. It will make it much easier to create spin as it is softer and has Limba as a top ply and not Koto (more dwell and forgiveness). Put two T05s on it and you are done.

It seems that the blades containing carbon-free composite fiber are in a way an improved version of the Petr Korbel and its monstrous in rotation like the Xiom Hugo HAL or the Butterfly ZLF for example. Could you compare? 😀

What do you mean exactly

He's saying that the "non carbon" blades that are also not 100% wood (like the Hugo HAL and ZLF, which have a material in them like carbon blades do, but it isn't carbon), appear to be an improvement on the Korbel for spin generation.

I can't comment as I've never used them, and not really read too much on how accurate that is.

Exactly !
Sorry, my English may be approximate.

If u want spinny, loopy, dwelly, decent speed with fair amount of control factor and okay with not being Butterfly, some 7 ply wood are good options, such as DHS PG7 or Falck W7 - the former is a very good looping blade and the latter, which I am using mainly, is a versatile powerhouse stocked with all sorts of weaponry - straight smash nuke, projectiled topspin ricochet, guided block shield... (pardon the military terms lol)

Stick the tackies on FH and tensors on BH, classic combo but hey it gets everything covered (in ur case if u wanna stick with Butterfly then D09C/T05)

I want a good blade that is good for looping and for playing shots away from the table as that's where I play sometimes, so I need a good blade that has good speed away from the table. I was maybe thinking JM ZLC

When you say "sometimes", is that like you always back away from the table after starting a game? Or does it mean you do a few close table shots then start to back off gradually? Or does it mean you wait till you see an opportunity then you back off? You need to focus on the more prominent play style of yours.

Btw, have you considered HL5? Seems to fit what you want perfectly, good control and powerful for loops. I don't see it being mentioned in this thread so just throwing it out there. Or maybe just go all the way and get a W968 lol
