Stiga Helix Platinum ( Any review )

Just wondering if anyone has tried the stiga helix platinum. Im thinking of using it on my Yinhe pro 01. Right now using g1 but sometimes the ball just doesnt grip due too the hard topsheet and humid condtions.

I play Helix Platinum M on a clipper. I have tested H as well. I like it a lot. More dwell and more spin than DNA Platinum M. Quite similar to Tenergy 19.

I do not know. But since Truls plays with Helix and Cybershape Carbon combo, I guess it must work well.

probably one of the most fragile rubbers I have came across.
you welcome to take the offcut and try to tear it apart with 2 hands - its pretty easy to tear the topsheet and sponge.

Be careful with that thing

edit: huh, this is Stiga rubbers thread. Every time my friends or opponents used Stiga rubbers it's either these wear out really quick, or the spin is much lesser compared to Bty or DHS rubbers. The speed was ok.

sorry to disappoint you both! (cracked me up too lol)

haven't tried it yet. i tried my NUZN 55 and Bluegrip J1 first. Liked NUZN more but also slightly heavier, better arc/bounce but both are nice. They are max thickness and feel spongy to me coming from D09C.

Neither rubber is really like 09C. ... but both have nice grip and are faster. They have nice qualities so I'll be keeping them on for now and will report back when I try C55 and Helix 55 (sometime soon maybe).

I have played with a couple of sheets of Platinum DNA M. Had a brief hit with another players Helix M on Viscaria.

Felt like an upgrade to DNA. Not sure if this rubber is worth $90, but if you like DNA, Helix is very easy to transition to.

I'm getting the Helix XH for Christmas so I'll report back when I've had a decent time with it 😜 I'm using Platinum XH now and am impressed 😁 so if it's an upgrade very good news 😄

I've now had 8 hours with Stiga Helix XH Max my last 2 hours were amazing 😍 I didn't lose a set all afternoon against players I normally struggle to beat I won 3 matches 3-0 . I Won lots of points on my service with my opponents not coping with the extra spin I was generating!!! My loops where superb loaded with side spin !! I can't understand why it's so underrated??? I really liked Stiga Platinum XH but I'm really starting to love Stiga Helix XH a definite upgrade on Platinum XH!!!

Xiom C55 Butterfly Dig 05 Andro R 53 none of them matched the spin of the Helix (in my opinion)

Just wanted to update My thoughts on Stiga Platinum Helix XH the first thing to say is I've got a new sheet of Butterfly Z 03 2.5mm and new sheet of Andro Nuzn 55 Max and I'm still using the Helix XH and am very satisfied with my F.H my loops are super spinny I think it's slightly slower than Platinum XH. My sheets a month old and still looks new so hopefully it has good durability!!! Excellent control very Spinny service, surprised it's not more popular!!

Interesting. Out of all hybrids I really like C55. How is the short game and service between C55 and Helic?

I have used C55 and would say the Helix is excellent in the short game and not to spin sensitive,it is slightly slower than C55 ,the C55 is excellent rubber but I stopped using it because it only lasted 2 to 3 months. My month old Helix is still looking new so hopefully it will last a lot longer than 3 months!!!
