Did you put 09C on? Wavy is pretty thick and stiff and I found it better with D80. Felt a bit clunky to me with 09CI dont understand most of the reviews to be honest. Maybe I got a bad one.
It plays like a thick wooden blade but nothing special in that regard. The main reason I got it is that I like the handles and wings on Cybershapes, but I don't find this blade forgiving, you need to catch the ball in the sweet spot to get a good result, so most players will find it underwhelming compared to carbon for producing quick shots. As a fan of the Mazunov, this would be a lighter replacement of that kind of blade. But I dont get or see the faster than Viscaria or as fast as carbon comments. But again, maybe I just have a bad one or did a bad glue job.
I actually thought it was decent with 09c. When I put on the 80, I had so many shots where I felt I hit the ball decently but the ball did not go. 80 is my main rubber and I Want to commit to the Cybershape but a bit disappointed with the consistency of grab and go.Did you put 09C on? I kind of feel the same way, when playing with the Wavy I often feel as though my shots don't really grab/spit out the ball. The blade just doesn't really eat the ball well even with Hurricane. The speed I mainly felt through the blade resisting flexing under impact rather than the blade flexing and snapping like a conventional Viscaria structure. It doesn't feel too hard but I think it would feel and play better were it either thinner or softer. I prefer the Aura by far but I also think it is noticeably sensitive to blade angle on impact compared to outer fiber bladesI actually thought it was decent with 09c. Aura is outside my budget unfortunately. An ALC Cybershape would be awesome but Stiga is allergic to ALC so...I kind of feel the same way, when playing with the Wavy I often feel as though my shots don't really grab/spit out the ball. Budget combines price and intention. Aura there is no intention and it isn't cheap enough to just buy to test. Harimoto SZLC I have played with quite a bit and I can re-sell if I don't like it. I also get Butterfly at discount.how is Harimoto SZLC in your budget?![]()
Hello NextLevel, it's been a long time! How does SZLC compare to SALC, I haven't tried those materials yetBudget combines price and intention. They are definitely upgrades in speed, and for the Harimoto, they definitely help.Hello NextLevel, it's been a long time! How does SZLC compare to SALC, I haven't tried those materials yet
