Durability: D05 >> T05H = D09c

Spin quality on loops: D09c > T05H = D05

D09c gets me more spin than anything I've tried except maybe boosted H3. On backhand, D05 > T05H because of extra grip. On forehand, T05H at least equal to D05 on loop drives, though I get a little more spin from D05 on slow brush loops. But I've never liked D05 on forehand; it feels something like the top sheet has too much grip for the sponge when the ball sinks in.

Short game touch: For dead balls, I prefer T05H. For safely flipping anything with spin, D09c. For aggressively flipping, D05. For short pushes, D09c, though I also like T05H. I find D05 a little trickier for short pushing.

Thanks for the write up. What do you mean by the durability of 05H being only similar to 09c? I really liked 09c feeling on the FH except the durability really combined with the price sucked which is why I switched to D05. The 09c feeling dies in like 3-4 months :(

I mean the top sheet grip drops off considerably after roughly the same amount of time. When I start looping half long serves off the end of the table I know the magic is gone.

T05H - I love it when it is new, has the durability of the topsheet of a regular Tenergy, but the topsheet over time dries out and then I don't like how it ages like I used to like T05 - I think many players who have power will prefer the D09c holding effect to T05H, but people with good touch who want more speed/power will prefer T05H.

There is a very few people that play T05H. Maybe until now in my region, I haven't seen anyone play T05H, just D05 or D09C or T05. I would love to give a try but 100 cad is obstacle and my FH loop from when I started to play was with full chinese rubber only (or hybrid like D09C and K3). How is the feeling of T05H to chinese and hybrid rubbers? Maybe there should be some adjustment in techniques.
