Donic has been annoyingly changing "recipes" for their rubber models all the time as many players/sellers in my country realise that. Sometimes they "tuned" it for more spin and sometimes for more speed, so u can't really tell which particular "version" of a certain Donic rubber model u're using :(

The old JP i tested on my friend's bat had really awful spin compare to M, but people said the latest one had much better spin and as I observed the sponge of the newer JPs has been updated to have similar large pores as the M ver ......

Nevertheless the JP series is "supposed" to be more speed-biased than M ver according to Donic's description, but who knows if they're just bullshitting :p
That is absolutely right!
In my opinion tenergy is tenergy and no other brand can produce a rubber as good, light and durable as butterfly.

I read the whole thread, interesting stuff about Donic, didn't know this as I'm fairly new to ordering custom rackets and rubbers. (newly got my first with Tenergy 80 (fh) and Bluefire jp 03 (bh)). I personally prefered jp 03 ahead of Tenergy. might be lack of ability to control it.. (sike throw angle)
OR the fact that I messed the tenergy 80 up a bit when glueing.. (first time assembling on my own). Anyhow. I read fairly alot before I chose those, and I was planing on getting jp 03 both sides (after rubbers used up ofc.), but before that, I figured I'd try jp 01-turbo on my fh instead, any thoughts on wether this would be smart or not?

And regarding the actual topic, what about the Stiga Calibra Tour/Lt? Those seem fairly promising as an alternative?
