Tenergy 05 FX Rubber Review | With Kalinikos Kreanga

I've tried Tenergy 05 FX (32 degrees hardness) on a Viscaria, Fan Zhendong Super ALC, Harimoto Tomokazu Innerforce ZLC, and a Petr Korbel. Before this, my main bat was a Fan Zhendong ALC with Dignics 09C forehand and Dignics 05 backhand.

When I tried it on the Viscaria, at first I found it very useful and easy to use, but after another hour, it felt mushy, not powerful, and the arc was way too low.

When I tried it on the Fan Zhendong Super ALC, I did like it more than the Viscaria, however it still had the same
problems as Viscaria. It felt quite dull and not much grip. It's awful in humid conditions as well, as it slips right off the rubber. I do understand why people like it but it's not my thing.

When I tried it on the Innerforce ZLC, it was even worse than Viscaria. I felt no power, and no grip while the arc was still way too low. It felt mushy, though with strong backspin, I could lift it up quite easily.

With the Petr Korbel, honestly it felt ok, but just same problems as the others, but strangely it felt quite crisp on this blade, however still not my thing.

Overall, this is a great rubber for people who like soft rubbers but it's not for me, as I personally really like hard rubbers for my backhand. For example, now I use the Harimoto Innerforce ZLC and it works great with the Dignics 09C on the backhand, as my backhand is my weapon. As a 14 year old table tennis player in Hong Kong, I also use Dignics 05 and also Hurricane 3 on my forehand from the influence by Chinese players.

I wonder whether Falcima with FH Rozena and BH t05fx should be good or not?

Falcima is a rather soft, slow blade for beginners. If you are interested in these soft types of blades and rubbers then Tenergy 05 FX will be perfect on your backhand, especially if your backhand is rather a "European" style. I wouldn't recommend Rozena on the forehand because it's a little too soft and it's easy to bottom out. If you are interested in rather softer rubbers on your forehand as well, I would recommend the Tenergy series as they are slightly harder.
