I am using it with 1mm sponge on a def blade. Pips are soft and gripy, without a mushy or springy feeling. P3aV is even easier, with slightly thinner pips. Can you specify what is difficult with P3V? I will drop my table with various LP and MP:

It’s very unpredictable. The pips collapse easily so you go right though to the wood with this 0.5 sponge if someone hits hard. This is ok for attacks but it’s difficult to chop. I find I can’t stop the ball flying unless I use a forward arc on my chop stroke. Straight down chopping doesn’t really work for me. This is also probably exacerbated by the blade I use.
I can however chop a backspin ball with it and generate my own backspin. That is a recent discovery.
Very opposite to the blocking game where it excels at taking the pace off the ball if you use a bit of a sweep.
I can produce some crazy short angles and really dead blocks.
I wouldn’t talk about spin reversal as such with this rubber because it does such a variety of reversals or floats and wobbles.
Overall I find it a very uniquely fun and challenging experience.
I’m ready for a change though. Want to compare it to some other LPs.
Feint Long 2 was definitely much more straightforward but less confusing to opponents of course.
