He's referring to the comments underneath, with his fans and detractors fighting. Idk why that's a controversy though, many athletes have a lot of fans and haters. Some are more universally loved like Ma Long or Jordan, but many have a lot of haters like Lebron James or Cristiano Ronaldo.
