I noticed that we are starting to discuss again who PingSunday is, what he did/does, etc. instead of focusing on the essence of what is contained in his last video. I don't give a shit how bad he is, how he steals someone else's material (yes it is bad) but what is important is the essence of the film, something that is always a taboo subject and rarely leaves the backstage. I am glad that I could see something like this in English and whether it was PingSunday, John, XiaoXiao, or Kate who made it public, I am not very interested. The essence is important and can open the eyes of all those who are EJ.

@NextLevel I think the essence is rather for Letter codes, fish scales and all those madness which makes hypothetically particular series very special and EJ's are going to spend more than they are truly worth it.
Golden Viscaria's are different story, of course above might be stuck to them as well (within their line). But this is limited product only for China so going forward they are different from Black Tag Viscaria, or Normal old Viscaria i.e. from P-series, etc.
Is it special? Yes, because of limitation, Does it behave different from normal Viscaria? Yes, handle is different, balance is different. But if you asked me if it is better or different from China Player edition Viscaria? I don't know, haven't tried it, only @Wrighty67 can compare/share his thoughts because as far as I remember he owns both.
But as mentioned above, this film is rather for overpaying for P-series, O-series, fish-scale series whatever for which the sellers created stories dating back to the cannibals how they are good and better from the current blades.
This is nothing else as business

For me, Golden Viscaria is the same thing as the use of serial codes to claim one blade plays better than another. There are no physical properties of a blade apart from the technique of the user once the blade is well built and consistent.

I contact him because he stole a video from my friend. His answer? They all do it.

yep,
if you spent time and money to make videos and creating content and someone steals from you, it is really sour.
people who don't care, haven't gone through the efforts of creating content.

the problem is pingsunday is probably making a lot of money for doing that and getting away with it.
good for him, for making so much money, but ethics comes before performance in my books.
so good or bad content from what he does, he is a unethical business person

it is all those 100s of thousands of views that worship him, that is encouraging his actions to continue.

I won't be surprised he makes 10 folds of what Dan makes, and Dan is doing the community good with actual content creation for the sport.

Waldner cup - someone posted a link, and the video got removed citing waldner cup giving that user a strike, and guess who else? ping sunday.... the cheeks for doing that.

There are lots of channels on YouTube and Coach EmratThich's channel is one of them. When I was too much behind the secret sauce, I thought that somewhere I will stumble upon some gems which will make me a table tennis star. Later, with age, grey hairs and hopefully some wisdom, I realized that every teaching is contextual. What we see in a short YouTube video focuses on a particular skill and thus eliminates (cannot cover) other parts which would be building block of your game and thus put your game in a defined framework. The solution to this is to work with a good coach and let him/her guide you through your progress.
I always see that EmratThich posts contents from Chinese/Asian website and adds subtitles to the content. For me, since I don't pay a very high attention to it, it is just another video which might be catchy based on the topic headline. But if you deeply believe that 'Rome was not built in a day' you will not think too much or make any changes to your game with that video as your guidance.
As for how authentic he is? I surely cannot comment as I never met him or played against him or his students. So, just live and let live.

Very true! The one thing which my late coach said to me is that you cannot allow more than one person to add salt/spice to the dish - meaning don't learn from multiple sources simultaneously. I think that was one of the profound sayings from him.
