Tiago Apolonia Wins The Austrian Open 2010 In A Dramatic Final!

Portugal’s Tiago Apolonia seeded 13 won the mens singles title at the Austrian Open on the 24th October 2010 beating Timo Boll of Germany in the final. he must think the exactly the opposite.

Apolonia was three games to one down to beat Timo Boll by 10-12, 11-8, 3-11, 8-11, 11-8, 11-9, 11-6.

On route to the final Apolonia beat beat Kirill Skachkov, Jean-Michel Saive and Chen Weixing and Kenta Matsudaira in four straight games.

This will be a big confidence booster for Tiago and lets hope he keeps this performance for next weeks World Cup.
