I am lost between choosing these 2 blades.
Please if you can help make some suggestions.

If i will use TB alc with tenergy 05 on the FH, what should i put on the BH?

And if i'm going to use Viscaria with tenergy 05 on the FH what should i use on the BH.

And If someone knows the main differences between these 2 blades that would also help a lot.

Thank you in advance!

It's really about which handle/head shape you prefer. If you look at the Butterfly spec chart, the blades are pretty much the same. Of course, no two blades play exactly the same because of wood, use and age, but the physical properties of these blades are largely the same but you might radically prefer one to another mostly because of the handle and how that affects the feeling of balance. So it is best to get one that you have hit with and like, but the new ones are mostly good, according to buyers like Baal. The Donic Ovtcharov True Carbon is a cheaper and reliable alternative as well.

Yep. What NextLevel said. They are the same aside from the handle. And the Donic Ovtcharov True Carbon plays pretty much exactly like them also.

How long have you been playing? What was your previous blade? What rubber are you using for FH and BH? What rubber were you thinking of using for BH? Do you have a reason to get a different rubber on BH than FH?

Viscaria is better for topspins. Topspins from viscaria are really terrible for oponent, but i haven´t too control. Tb alc is good blade for all, but Timo boll spirit is Best ALC blade ever. It is my opinion. :)

There is actually no real difference between the 3 blades aside from handle and blade face shape. If you have only tried one or two of each you could miss it because of what NextLevel said which is that every blade is a little different since wood is wood and once was alive.

But if you tried 10 Viscarias, 10 TBSs and 10 TB ALCs you would start seeing more similarities and fewer differences. And then the handle you like best or the blade face shape you like best becomes the main thing to choose from.

The actual weight of the blades makes more of a difference in how they feel than which kind of blade. For instance, a 90 gram TBS will feels more like a 90 gram Viscaria than it will feel like an 83 gram TBS.

Hope that info helps.

I have tried considerably more than 10 of each (more Viscarias). Simply choose the one with handle and weight that works for you. That is the only real consistent difference. It is not insignificant, though. Handle and wing shape affect your grip and transitions. It affects how you play.
