TSP Triple Spin Chop Replacement

Hey everyone,

I am asking for a friend of mine who isn’t on here.
He is an old school defender who has successfully played with the TSP Triple Spin Chop in 1.3 for many, many years. He mostly chops with it, sometimes he blocks and he rarely attacks.
He even bought a bulk of the rubber years ago before it was discontinued, but now his reserves are coming to an end.
He is looking for a suitable replacement for this rubber. Any idea what currently available rubber would come close to it?

I think Sauer & Troger secret flow chop is quite similar.

Would you recommend to go for 1.0 or rather 1.5 then? I saw that it’s not available in 1.3.

If it’s mostly for chopping and some blocking, 1.0 will be fine.

The Triple Spin Chop was super tacky (sticky) though, I don't think the Secret flow is nearly as tacky.

Maybe spinlord marder or marder 2 is the right rubber? I have no experience, but they are very slow defensive rubbers with thin sponge

All Marder rubbers have the same topsheet, very thin with long pips. Semi-tacky, can't hold the ball. I played with Marder 2 and I liked it as allround rubber with an extreme level of control. Unfortunately, the top sheet is not very durable. Donic Slice 40 CS is better in spin generation, with better topsheet durability, but has a fragile sponge.
