Tickan is leaving on top after the bronze medal in Halmstad. He has worked for the SBTF on and off since 1993.
There is no information on what he will do next.

I wonder if Jörgen Persson will try to get the job. While commentating the WTTC for SVT he stated that he had (unsuccessfully) applied for a position. He didn't say if it was as coach for the women's or men's team.

I've been so fortunate as to see him play, in the flesh, shortly before he co-won that WTTC doubles. I cherish the memory.

And don't forget he was also the coach when Sweden won the world teams (unexpectedly) in 2000. A fantastic moment, China haven't been beaten since.
